Life of an Artist

Michelangelo was an Italian artist born in March 6,1475 at caprese in Italy. According to the video,Michelangelo studied human anatomy and that was the reason why his work was remarkably lifelike. The documentary related Michelangelo from the time of his childhood where he was already drawn to the art.He started as an apprenticed at the age of thirteen and was working for Ghirlandaio, this one was the most fashionable painter in Florence at that time. Then Michelangelo decided to make his first sculptor a stone work when he was only seventeen. He moved to Rome where he executed many performances for individual and mostly for the pop in many different churches. So, because of his work Michelangelo was recognized as the most talented sculpture of the central Italy and one of the best artist of Renaissance.

My visit at the Art Institute was not an experience like other trip. From this trip I learned how to appreciate and visualize work of art without looking for beauty but the containing.Besides during this trip I saw how European artist use many types of visual element ant texture. Their work express what they feel. Also Edward Munch exhibit was something great that I was not expecting, I was not expecting to see fascinating painting in divers styles. For my, except for Michelangelo I did not know that there was also good artist like Edward Munch who used imagination to create new world, new combination or epic.
Contrarily to my other team project, the one that I had at the Art Institute was more explicit;however my teammate try to use an inappropriate language, still we described our work according to what was need to be done. In addition,I really like the work of art by Claude Monet "Waterloo bridge" harmony was well represented, however many details about visual elements or design principles could have been illustrated. Anyway! the trip was nice and for people like me who had never thought that there were many others artist who can do good work, that day I discovered it.

A modernist work of Art

This work of Art is a sculpture representing a man who has a gesture. This work is mostly represented in shape when we look at it. it is little illusionist by incorporating facial expression that is quiet difficult to discern. Besides. this work represent the time and motion how? Well, because of the movement of the work and the non- moving image that shows movement through the attributes present in the image also the work show harmony.
In addition, I think the artist's work is well done and create attraction to viewer; however, the colors is not bright enough at the same time through this work the artist want to show us what expression a man has when he suffer.
